The RE Store in Bellingham, with over 30,000 square feet of retail space, is the largest retail business in downtown Bellingham.  We feature a large selection of cabinets, doors, windows, lumber, flooring, paneling, lighting, sinks, tubs, toilets, trim, paint, hinges, knobs, hardware, plumbing parts, electrical, chairs, pipe, ducting, and more.  Something new is always coming in off the truck, so if we dont have it today, check tomorrow. Our new store is conveniently located on the corner of Meridian, Broadway, and Girard Street in the Fountain District of Bellingham. Our new home has plenty of parking for all.

The RE Store Accepts Your Materials

If you are finishing a remodel project or cleaning out the garage, dont pay money to dump useable building materials or let them rot in the backyard! 

We accept items from homeowners,
contractors, and businesses. 

Drop-offs are accepted at each store from
9-5 Mon-Sat and 10-4 on Sundays.
Drop-offs are not accepted during the last hour
each day, due to staffing.

Depending on the materials that you bring in or have picked up, you might be eligible for:

• In-Store Trade Credit - for 25 percent of what we sell the item for.  Example: We give you 10 dollars trade credit for a door that we sell for 40 dollars.
• Tax receipt - you honestly determine the value of your donation to our non-profit organization. Please consult an accountant regarding tax deductions.

*Please note that if our Pick-Up Service comes to your location, the trade credit value will be assessed at 15 percent of The RE Store sales value.  Tax receipt donations are still determined by you if we come and pick up your items.

Picking and Choosing Materials

While we want to keep as much as we can out of the landfill, we are selective and must always look carefully before accepting items. Please consult our Moratorium List for items that we do not accept.

Coming Northbound on I-5 from south of Bellingham

1. Take EXIT 253 - LAKEWAY DR.

2. Turn RIGHT onto KING ST.

3. Turn RIGHT onto LAKEWAY DR.

4. Go 5 blocks and turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto E HOLLY ST.

5. Go 1.2 miles and turn RIGHT onto BROADWAY

6. Go 6 blocks and turn left into The RE Store Parking Lot. Look for the big tree with the Parking Sign below it, just before the intersection of GIRARD, MERIDIAN, and BROADWAY.

Coming Southbound on I-5 from north of Bellingham

1. Take EXIT 256 - Meridian Street / Bellis Fair Exit.

2. Turn RIGHT onto MERIDIAN ST.

3. Go 1.6 miles to 2309 MERIDIAN ST.

There we will be at the intersection of Meridian, Broadway, and Girard
