Take a trip down our memory lane and see RE Store at work in a wide variety
of projects. The RE Store has worked in job sites as diverse as the
(former) Kingdome and the Seattle Opera House to over 110 public elementary,
middle, high schools, 2 different universities, 4 military bases, and countless
businesses, homes, barns, & pole buildings.
The following are just a
sampling of the many jobs that RE Store has salvaged or completely deconstructed. Deconstruction uses a combination of machine and manual techniques - learn more about our Deconstruction Services.
West Seattle House - January 2007
This epic project kicked off our Deconstruction Service in King County after years of research and development with our northern crews. (We arent kidding - we really did research - case studies available on the next page)
5,000 square feet of large dimensional posts and beams, miles of cardecking, a squash court in the basement, and a nice view to boot... View an excellent photo slideshow of the project, thanks to Joel at onethousandandonewords.com - it takes a minute to load. Special thanks go out to our new partner, Washington Conservation Corp for their crew's assistance on the project while the snow kept them from their regular work.
Clarks Point House - July 2006
Another fine old house fell under the care of the RE Store deconstruction crew. The house was full of big timbers, lots of great fixtures, paneling, and loads of framing lumber. The environmentally sensitive nature of the site made it an ideal candidate for our services.

Garfield High School - Summer 2006
The one and only Garfield High where greats like Quincy Jones and Jimi Hendrix attended. 250,000 square feet of salvage... almost overwhelming. But RE Store is up for anything, especially when the craftmanship from the 1920's was getting removed.

G-P Administrative Offices - April 2006
The transformation of Bellingham's waterfront gave us a chance to gut the main administration building. We brought back stacks of nice maple paneling, doors, fixtures, cabinets, hardware, and even some company swag. |
