Efficient Rainwater Irrigation Systems
Saturday, May 19th 9:00am - 3:00pm
Developing a well managed irrigation system that meets - not exceeds - the needs of your landscape is integral to efficiently using your water supply. Learn how to minimize your time and water bill by eliminating runoff, evaporation, and creating a watering schedule that is appropriate for your plants and soil. The water sources we will be using in this hands-on in-the-garden demonstration workshop are 275 gallon rainwater cisterns, both gravity and pump fed.

Cost: $55 members, $65 non-members

Miterless Creative Frames and Finishing with Molding 
June 2nd, 5-6:30 PM, at Bellingham Depot Market Square as a part of the Appliance Art Revival with a downhill appliance race, a reuse art auction and live music by Yogoman Burning Band.
Demonstration Price: FREE (The race is free too - access to the Appliance Art Revival party with auction and music at Boundary Bay Brewery cost: $7)

Join Eberhard Eichner for a demonstration in building frames and creating decorative edges for things like mirrors, picture frames, trays and more.

Eberhard has been building furniture and doing finish carpentry for 30 years. His skill and creativity is making new pieces every week for The RE Store's REvision Division. See videos and learn more about the REvision Division.

Large-Scale Rainwater Catchment for Your Home: Part I & II
Tuesday, June 12 from 6-8pm and Saturday, June 16 from 9am-noon

Learn how to retrofit two 275-gallon tanks (which can water about 1,000 sq ft) into a rainwater system for your home or business. Learn some of the permit requirements and design and installation principles. This is a two-part class. Attend both classes and leave with the resources and know-how to retrofit tanks for your own rainwater harvesting system. 

Part I: This classroom session will cover the concepts, metrics, and mechanics of rainwater harvesting with tanks and general water conservation information.  Tuesday, June 12 from 6-8pm 

Part II: This session will be hands-on with step-by-step installation of a retrofit system. Saturday, June 16 from 9am-noon
